Back in... what? 2002? 2003? My mom brought home a stray. It was coolest thing ever, or so I'd thought at the time because I'm a ginormous animal lover. Cats, dogs, you name it (except for snakes. I will kill a fucking  run away screaming like a little bitch from a snake), I love it. And not only did my mom bring home this gorgeous cat, she brought home five of her newborn kittens with her.

To this day, we still can't figure out what possessed someone to pretty much abandon her. She was (mostly) Siamese with the sweetest disposition. I've had quite a few cats in the last twenty five years, but none have ever come close to being as sweet as my Sophie girl was.

She was sick and I know that what we did today was for the best, but Jesus Christ, it hurt so bad.

RIP Sophie Girl. You were one of a kind and I love you.

+ Uriel is a dick and I wish someone would take him out.

+ Castiel isn't... exactly what I was expecting. A few times I was like "Bro, really?" but I have high hopes that he gets better. Plus, he's hot and that always helps.

+ Sammy annoyed me for the majority of S1, but I'm starting to embrace the mantears. Plus, he looks like an overgrown little boy and I want to snuggle him against my bosoms.

+ Dean... oh Dean. The idea that you were in hell kills me, bb. I love you.

+ Dean + Anna? I could totes ship that. First het pairing I've shipped since Teyla/Ronon.

+ Ruby 2.0 (3.0? Because she did have another body in between)... hmm, where do I begin?  I read up on SPN before I even started watching and from what I gathered, Ruby 2.0 wasn't very popular but I... kind of like her? Don't get me wrong, Katie Cassidy was hotter (imo, but clearly not Jared Padawhatever's) but Ruby, I likes ya.

+ I miss my two boys being brothers. I mean, sure, they're still brothers, but I already see the wedge that's forming between them and it breaks my heart a little. I just wanna tie 'em up and do bad things to them make them pull their heads out of their asses.

I'm already halfway through S4. Season 5 is on its way. I haven't been this obsessed since SGA. Someone send help.

Seriously.

I am so in love with Supernatural it isn't even funny. Last week, I ordered Season 3 and 4 and 3 just came in and I CAN'T WAIT TO GET TO WORK SO I CAN WATCH!

Holy jeez, I'm so excited.

So, if any of you are in that fandom, point me in the direction of SPN must-reads or journals.

Independence Day: On the 4th of July, John has something else worth celebrating. Like the fact that Rodney's still alive. ~600 words.

Well, maybe not exactly, but around this time last year, I can remember being bored out of mind when I stumbled across an NCIS/SGA crossover. I was a huge NCIS fan at the time, and having felt like I'd already read every other NCIS fic in the world, I decided to read that one, despite having no clue who John, Rodney, Teyla or Ronon were.

I think by the end of the first fic, I was already in love and after reading three more, I found the first SGA episode online.

I can't say it was love at first sight, because I thought John Sheppard talked funny and Rodney was annoying, but I loved the characters I read about so much that I kept going and well... the rest is history!

I think this has been the friendliest fandom I've ever had the pleasure of being a part of. I'm sad that I didn't get to be a part of it when it was still on TV, but I'm glad I found you guys before it completely disappeared!

Get It Right: Rodney's feeling guilty about something, but John just doesn't get it. Eventually he does though. Warning for mentions of character death and slightly AU. Spoilers for 3x20, 4x01. ~2200 words.

I cried like a little bitch when she told me. I knew we couldn't keep them, but every time she's ever given anything of mine away, she doesn't even give me a chance to say goodbye to them.

I'm kind of angry with her right now, to be honest and I feel stupid for it, but I kind of loved that kitten :(
